NT Logistics Celebrates 10 Years of Success

March 23, 2009

FRISCO, Texas (March 23, 2009) – NT Logistics, a leading transportation management and logistics service provider, announces the celebration of its 10-year anniversary – a milestone made possible by the company’s mission of “Real People using Real Technology to produce Real Solutions Real Fast.” Founded in 1999, the company has orchestrated the transportation of more than 22 billion pounds of client merchandise across the country.

In NT Logistics’ first year of offering contract carrier and third-party logistics services, the company charged out of the gate and logged $18 million in sales. By the end of 2000, business more than doubled to $43 million. Accelerating growth prompted the opening of a new office in Houston as well as Lubbock and Springdale, Arkansas in 2002-2003. The company was also honored four years in a row with a Dallas 100™ Award as one of the area’s fastest-growing privately held companies presented by SMU’s Cox School of Business and the Dallas Business Journal.

In 2006, NT Logistics moved to expanded, state-of-the-art facilities in Frisco, Texas to accommodate a growing team and increasingly sophisticated technology. The company continues to make investments in people and operations infrastructure to serve the growing needs of clients. NT Logistics President/CEO Lynn Gravley notes, “We’re proud to mark a decade of providing our loyal clients with the highest levels of efficient, innovative service, and because we truly love what we do, we’re very happy to have had fun along the way.”

One of NT’s first clients was Accent Wire, the leading provider of baling wire and wire tier solutions in North America. Accent Wire President Bill Simms considers a superior supply chain to be a critical part of his company’s value proposition.

“For over nine years, we’ve relied on NT Logistics to help with our vast distribution network and ensure our customers consistently experience a timely, accurate, cost-effective and hassle-free delivery,” he explained. “NT Logistics continues to get it right – they have been a true strategic partner and we wish them another 10 years of success.”

Another longtime NT client is Network Services Company, a member-owned organization of more than 75 best-in-class member-distributors with combined annual revenue over $15 billion. NSC traffic manager Helga Polit credits NT Logistics with sharing its customer-centric approach to business.

“Our longstanding partnership with NT has allowed our members to better serve their customers by improving service levels and reducing supply chain costs,” she said. “I congratulate Lynn for his entrepreneurial spirit, and his entire team for their continuing commitment to excellence in customer service.”

Gravley is gratified by the affirmation of the company’s approach. “Our tremendous growth and achievements in 10 short years can be attributed directly to the strong partnerships we’ve forged with our customers and the passion of our entire NT team to consistently add value and exceed expectations,” he said. “And, you can be sure that doing ‘whatever it takes’ to deliver outstanding results for customers will continue to be our philosophy for the next 10 years.”
